Kordon Rapid Cure

Rapid-Cure is a concentrated dropper-bottle treatment for ich and other external protozoan parasites, dosed drop by drop rather than by capful.

Key features

• Malachite green based, aimed at white spot, protozoan fin damage and other external parasites.
• The dropper bottle makes it practical for small hospital tanks, where a capful of anything would be far too much.
• Usable in freshwater and in fish-only marine systems.

Important cautions

• Do not use it with invertebrates, live rock, live coral or anemones. Shrimp and snails have to be moved out before treatment begins.
• The label specifically warns against use with scaleless fish such as loaches and elephant noses, and sets a reduced rate for tetras. Read it in full before the first drop.
• Remove activated carbon before dosing, and put fresh carbon back once the course is finished.
• Expect the water to turn blue, and expect silicone and decor to stain, so a bare treatment tank is the safer option.
• This is a concentrate, so an accidental overdose matters. Count drops carefully, know your true water volume, and respect the label's maximum number of treatments.
